Aquatic Life

We had a break from our hot sunny weather today. When we awoke at a very pleasant 8:00 this morning, which is the latest the kiddos have slept in a very loooong time, we opened our eyes to rain. Althought the weather was forecast to be 90and sunny with a small chance of widely scattered showers, the rain stayed with us for 8 hours. We decided it would be an excellent day to see the Newport Aquarium, just over the river in Kentucky.

The kids LOVED it. Brandon has been there before but was too young to remember it now and this was the girls' first time there.

Brandon loved the sharks (of course! he sleeps with his beloved stuffed Sharky) as well as the portions of walkway where you are walking on glass over the tanks. The girlies loved the penguins and the shark petting tank. The girls fell asleep on the way home and Brian decided we needed Chipotle for dinner so I didn't even have to cook today!
