Houston, We Have a First Grader!

Today was Brandon's last day of kindergarten. I think this last day was harder for me than the first day was. First grade sounds so much older than kindergarten, but he is quite ready to move on. Mrs Crooke is an awesome teacher and Brandon had a wonderful year. It's amazing to me to see how much he has changed and he has learned so much. He got to tour the first grade room today and talk to Miss Graf. Mr. B is very excited to be in her class in the fall.

We went home to Akron for Memorial day weekend. What a busy time we had! Andy's first birthday party was Saturday at Dee's parents' home. The kids had so much fun! Brandon still has the arms from the Elmo pinata. Why? Don't know, but he acts like they are a type of trophy.

On Sunday we had Harrison baptized at Nativity, by Fr. Halaiko who Baptized Mike and Brandon, Confirmed both Mike and me and married Brian and me. Mike and Dee are his Godparents. Thankfully they didn't mind doing double duty as they are already Lainey's Godparents. Harrison slept through the entire event with the exception of the pictures after the ceremony.
Monday was a quick stop to see Lorrie and Butch and then back to SW Ohio. Sammy did great at the farm where we boarded him. Marla said he even played with the other dogs which is great as he was so timid when we got him!

Harrison was 13 lbs 8 oz at his 8 week appointment - still holding a 2 lb lead over his big brother at the same age. He had his first ear infection this week at 12 weeks and also rolled from his tummy to his back - he was the first one to roll this early.
