The kids were so tired they were sound asleep by 8:00 so we opted to forgo taking them to see fireworks (after all what can beat seeing them last year on the boat at Papa Mike and Nana Bo's!) but Trenton residents evidently love their backyard displays so we woke Brandon up to see an hour of huge fireworks from our driveway! There were so many the house was shaking, the neighbor's house looked like it was glowing and the smoke was really thick in the air - Brandon loved it!
