Bridal Showers and Campfires

We all had a fun filled weekend up at the lake last week! The kids had a wonderful time playing with Daddy, Grandpa and Uncle Mike while we ladies went to Donna's bridal shower.

Always look at a girl's grandmother to see how she will look in 50 years.

The shower was an hour drive each way and with our many side trips we were gone for most of the day. The kids loved eating lunch with the guys at (of course!) the airport and filling the pumpkin leaf bags. We ladies had a delicious lunch and showered Miss Donna with a kitchen full of goodies.

Afterwards we stopped at Grandma's for a bit and then Bon and I went over to the Slavic Fest at St. Michael's to surprise Grandma Irene. The place was booming with polkas and smelling of sauerkraut and pirohi.

We shocked Grandma and saw Aunt Gloria and Uncle Todd, who then came down to Dad's to see the kids - they got to meet the girlies for the first time!

When we returned to the lake, the campfire was in full swing and Brandon was ready to roast dinner or anything else he happened upon!
