Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to http://www.ironsfruitfarm.com/ for a hayride out to pick their pumpkins off of the vine in the pumpkin patch. This is a great farm. The hayride is really long through the fields and they have so many fun attractions for the kids. The day we went there was a puppet show, a fire truck, apple picking, a huge corn maze, and of course the luscious bakery full of apple butter, apple turnovers and apple fritters to die for.

Even now two weeks later, the kids are begging to go back for more. Maybe we'll go and pick apples since we didn't get to the orchard last time. We can make applesauce and pie. Ah pie, that makes it all worth it!
