Yup, that is 20 inches of snow!! The kids had so much fun playing in the white stuff, and it was fun to watch all of the snow fall. We had a good time being snowed in for the weekend. We didn't have to be anywhere and couldn't do anything as we were under a Level 3 weather advisory for almost 2 days so we weren't allowed to drive anyway. I made chili and vegetable beef soup and we camped out with the kids. The snow started that Friday and by Wednesday it was all gone!!
On his way to build a huge snow fort with the neighbors. The official snow measurement team.
Lainey helped shovel the driveway, too! I am a bit behind in posting these as my twin's club was supposed to have the Spring Clothing and Equipment sale the day of the blizzard so it was rescheduled for this past weekend. It was a lot of work, but we had a great turnout and our house is free of a lot of outgrown clothing and toys. A complete success - I left the house Friday afternoon with a van full and returned Saturday afternoon with less than one laundry basket full.
