The girlies birthday party was smaller and quieter than the usual birthday bashes and the girls had so much fun!

Aunt Dee Dee makes me belly laugh!
A very purple Brandon with his very purple NanaBo.
Lainey holed up in the playroom building puzzles and reading with Papa Mike. Katie preferred to read in the family room with Aunt Dee, while Brandon monopolized Nana Bo. Katie did blow the candles out on their cake. Lainey, on the other hand, did a really good job huffing and puffing, but never in the actual direction of the candles so I think it's safe to assume Katie also blew out Lainey's candles. Watching them eat their cake was certainly different than last year's party. Utensils are such a beautiful thing - especially when they are used for eating rather than stabbing one's twin!
